The animals relationship with Manon is so important and significant to their farm community! The animals all team together to try to prevent Manon from leaving the farm. But, they only heard a few words from the conversation... could there be a miscommunication? Did the animals understand Manon's conversation clearly?

Trivia[]
- Manon's friends cry in this episode. This is the first time they do so.
- This episode is paired with "The Witch and the Dragon" on its Playhouse Disney/Disney Junior broadcasts, likely to fill in a 15-minute timeslot on the channel and coincide with the fact that the Planet Nemo Animation series Bali has also aired on Playhouse Disney before being pushed over to PBS in the 2010's.
- This is the first episode to feature the song "Our Manon", making this the first episode since "The Scary Scarecrow" to have a new song (although the song "The Night is So Bright" from "Alma's Nightmare" and "The Witch and the Dragon" was featured in the latter episode and comes after "The Scary Scarecrow" in chronological order).
- This episode's song was featured in the Toopy and Binoo World episode "Movie Makers / Toopy's Magic Toybox".
- A similar version of this episode was featured in the first season of Yure and You, as the third episode to be written by Matt Hargreaves, the series' creative consultant and voice of Jonathan, one of the main characters. The episode, being titled "Do I Have to Leave This Soon?", involves Inesi's friends overhearing a debate on whether or not Inesi herself will be moving away to Finland when her dad applies for a job in Finland.

Song[]
She said let's have a picnic lunch
Invite your friends, the whole bunch
Or maybe we can put on a play
Wear costumes the whole day
Oh, what would we do, without a friend like our Manon?
With nowhere to go
There wouldn't be such fun things to do, like putting on shows
We're lucky to have Manon!
If someone plays a mean trick on you
And you can't really understand why
Manon will be there right away to comfort you
And hold you if you cry
Oh, what would we do, without a friend like our Manon?
With nowhere to go
No one would give us hugs and start our days with friendly "hellos"
We're lucky to have Manon!
Oh, what would we do, without a friend like our Manon?
With nowhere to go
Our days are filled with lots of fun, and that is all there is to know!
Because of our Manon!
